My name is Amber, owner and therapist at Everwell Counseling, and my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions honestly and authentically. I am dedicated to your well-being and committed to helping you achieve your mental health goals. Honesty, trust, and compassion are values I bring with me into our sessions together.

​My path into this work has been shaped by a wide range of experiences. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in child welfare, where I saw how families struggle within systems that don’t always support them and how much strength people carry even in the hardest moments. That chapter of my career is what ultimately pushed me toward becoming a therapist. Later, at a children’s hospital, I saw the impact medical issues have on entire families, from navigating insurance to juggling care needs. That experience taught me the value of coordinated, compassionate support. I went on to work at a behavioral health hospital as an outpatient therapist, where I treated clients with more complex diagnoses. The work was intense, but I loved it. After that, I spent time in a small private practice and then a larger group practice in Sun Prairie. Each step confirmed how much I enjoy this field and eventually led me to open Everwell so I could create a space that reflects my values and allows room for creativity and growth in the therapy process.
